Two new tax agreements for Island

by isleofman.com 17th September 2013
The Isle of Man has signed two more Tax Information Exchange Agreements, bringing the total number of agreements to 31.

This time, Treasury Minister Eddie Teare MHK signed up with Italy and Lesotho.

It means the Isle of Man has a total of 41 agreements meeting OECD standards on tax co-operation and transparency.

Italy is the 17th EU country we’ve signed such agreements with, while the Lesotho agreement is the third with a member of the Southern African Development Community.
