Profits jump for Optimal

Manx-based epayment processor Optimal Payments has announced its results for the first six months of this year.

The statistics show a huge jump in the company’s profits – this year from January to June it made net profits of just over ?9 million.

That compares to a loss of around half a million pounds in the first half of last year.

The firm reports its revenues are also up – from ?49.5 million last year to ?74.2 million this year.
