Exam Success at Appleby

by isleofman.com 5th September 2013

Appleby Fund Services (Isle of Man) Limited (“AFSIOML”) is pleased to announce the exam success of Eilis Kerford and Edward Perkins in The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (“ACCA”) qualification.

Both Eilis and Edward qualified as ACCA members this month, having completed 14 exams in Fundamental and Professional areas, taking four years to complete. Both passed all exams the first time round, a rare achievement with the ACCA qualification.

The newly chartered certified accountants joined Appleby in June 2013 following its acquisition of Caledonian Fund Services (Europe) Limited.  The dedicated funds team, AFSIOML, provides fund administration and management to a wide range of offshore funds, as well as accounting/reporting services for managed account platforms and standalone investor services.

Sean Dowling, Managing Partner in Appleby (Isle of Man), commented: “On behalf of Appleby, I would like to congratulate Eilis and Edward on their ACCA qualification. To pass all exams first time around is a fantastic achievement and shows great dedication to complete their studies on top of an already busy workload.” He continued: “I have no doubt that they will continue to play a key role in our newly formed funds team and I wish them every success.”
