Lawyers make Leaders List

by isleofman.com 29th July 2013

Phil Games and Kevin O’Riordan have been included in the Citywealth Leaders List for 2013.

This guide, which is published annually, is compiled through the recommendation of industry peers, ultra high net worth clients and charitable organisations and is an independent endorsement of Phil and Kevin’s position in the wealth management sector.

Both are directors of Simcocks based in Ridgeway Street, Douglas. The Citywealth Leaders List follows researchers from The Legal 500 ranking Simcocks as a Top Tier firm in the practice area of Private Client and Trusts and the Chambers Global 2013 edition recognising Simcocks for its "strength of expertise”.

Simcocks chief executive Phil Games said: “The Private Client department strives to deliver exceptional results by mixing expertise, experience and new ideas. Many of our lawyers have been named as leaders in their field by independent researchers. By offering each client a bespoke service we have cultivated lasting relationships with many families and as well as offering a premier service we are easy and straightforward people to deal with.”

Kevin O’Riordan, who is president of the Isle of Man Law Society, has been listed as a prominent figure for dealing with contentious trusts. He said: “This is an interesting area of law which continues to develop and it is gratifying that Simcocks is recognised as being at the cutting edge. Our expertise also covers the cross-over between trust and family law.”
