Ellan Vannin Fuels has been appointed to run the sub-post office in Foxdale.
The company's general manager Phil Downs will run the agency from its curent premises at the filling station on Main Road in Foxdale.
Mr Downs takes over from Adrian Christian of Wessex Garage who has been sub post master at Foxdale for the past 14 years.
The agency was passed onto Ellan Vannin Fuels when the company bought the garage business from Wessex.
Isle of Man Post Office has thanked Mr Christian for his hard work and dedication in delivering a high standard of postal services to the Foxdale Community.
