Forum offers advice to tax advisers

by isleofman.com 19th June 2013

A slate of expert speakers is lined-up for the Offshore Tax and Trust Forum in Douglas (20 June).

The one-day conference aimed at tax and legal advisers will address the rapidly changing tax landscape in the Isle of Man - which organisers say will exert 'a significant impact' on the guidance professionals need to offer to make 'a real difference' to their clients.

Topics to be discussed include FATCA , the UK IGA and changes to rules surrounding the statutory residence test.

Speakers are promising to draw on real-life experiences and offer delegates next steps to ensure they make the most of what they've heard when back in the office.

Island firms KPMG, Appleby, PricewaterhouseCoopers, Greystone LLC and Offshore Tax Planning are all sending speakers to the forum.
