by isleofman.com 19th June 2013

For the fourth time in five years Standard Bank Offshore has won ‘Best International Banking Service’ in the annual International Fund and Product Awards, organised by leading industry publication Professional Advisor. In addition, Standard Bank also won the ‘Best International Structured Products Provider’ category. The Isle of Man was named Best International Finance Centre beating shortlisted Jersey, Gibraltar and Malta.

The awards are designed to reward the work of international product providers and finance centres and ‘Best International Banking Service’ is awarded to the bank that the judging panel believes offers the best range of current, deposit and savings products available for expatriates.

John Coyle, CEO of Standard Bank IoM, said: ‘We are proud to be a part of the Isle of Man International Finance centre success, and to be named ‘Best International Banking Service’ for a fourth time is a fantastic achievement for Standard Bank. It is testament to the expertise and dedication of our staff to make sure we are simply the best at offering banking facilities to expatriates. In addition winning the Best International Structured Product after being highly commended in previous years shows how hard we have worked to make sure the products we provide are exactly what our clients want and need.’

The International Fund and Product Awards are awards that recognise the achievements of the offshore financial services industry and the financial products and services that they distribute through IFAs internationally.
