SMP Partners, the dominant provider of corporate services to the Isle of Man's e-gaming sector, has been shortlisted for a leading industry prize.
The Isle of Man-based company has been nominated as Corporate Service Provider of the Year at the prestigious eGR B2B Awards 2013. It is the only Isle of Man business to appear on the shortlist under this category, which includes four other high calibre international professional service providers.
SMP Partners Group Director David Hudson said: “The eGR B2B Awards are highly regarded, so to be nominated is an honour and recognition of the quality of our work.”
“I am particularly proud to be carrying the flag for the Isle of Man in the CSP category, which will be fiercely contested due to the strength of our fellow nominees.”
“Providing corporate services to the e-gaming industry has become an essential element of the Isle of Man’s business offering and I am delighted that we have been recognised as a market-leader not only here in the Island, but on a prestigious industry-wide platform like the eGR B2B Awards.”
Steve McGowan, Chairman of the SMP Group, added: "I am immensely proud of what we have achieved in this exciting sector in such a short period of time.”
“We have worked incredibly hard together with the Island's Department of Economic Development to build the Island's profile as a leading jurisdiction for gaming operators and software providers and this nomination is testimony to the positive impact we have made."
Organised by market-leading publication eGaming Review, the eGR B2B Awards celebrate the best service providers in the online gaming industry, recognising the achievements of suppliers from across all the major e-gaming disciplines.
The winners will be announced on June 6, at The Pavilion at the Tower of London, in front of more than 500 e-gaming supplier and service provider professionals.
