Encouraging figures for ferries

by isleofman.com 25th April 2013

The Department of Infrastructure says passenger figures at the Sea Terminal in Douglas saw a massive rise last month.

More than 29,000 passengers travelled through the building last month, compared to just over 25,000 in March last year.

The number of vehicles using ferries also rose year on year by around ten per cent.

The department says much of the large rise can be explained by Easter falling during April this year.
