The next eClub event will be held on Thursday 25 April 2013 at the Courthouse Club from 6pm. The event will carry a Gamblers and Fraudsters theme, where guests will get the opportunity to take part in an identity theft mystery game.
Guests will each be given a ticket for the event, which has the design of a debit card, and contains a unique number and identity. On presentation of a ticket to one of the Callcredit staff, attendees will find out if their card details belong to a gambler or a fraudster. Guests with tickets deemed ‘clean’ will stand the chance to win one of a number of available prizes, including a bottle of champagne. In addition, there will be a prize draw on the evening with a chance to win a brand new iPad mini, courtesy of the event sponsor, Callcredit Information Group.
Callcredit are leading experts in identifying payment and impersonation fraud, under-age sign-ups and high risk players. Their verification suite links the credit card or bank account details directly to the individual so whether they are paying in or you are paying out, igaming businesses can verify that the transaction is secure and significantly reduce the chance of fraud to their business. Sadie Guymer of Callcredit eagerly anticipates the success of the upcoming eClub event: “We’re really excited to meet igaming professionals on the Isle of Man and start building relationships. We are hosting an informal, fun event with the opportunity to get to know us and win some prizes! We hope to see lots of you there.”
The eClub is a social meeting place for anyone involved in eGaming on the Isle of Man or those with an interest in the sector. The initiative was started by KPMG and Continent 8 Technologies to bring the growing number of people working in the sector together in one place and start building lasting relationships. As well as providing a social venue, the eClub party also gives colleagues and friends the opportunity to chat informally about ideas and issues within eGaming on the Island.
