Equiom’s Sheila Dean shortlisted for Citywealth “Woman of the Year”

by isleofman.com 4th April 2013

Equiom, a leading trust and corporate service provider headquartered in the Isle of Man is delighted to advise that Group Managing Director Sheila Dean has been shortlisted in the category of “Woman of the Year” for this year’s Citywealth Magic Circle Awards.

The awards brings together a top level group of elite advisors and managers in the international wealth industry representing the leading law firms, trust companies, family offices, tax advisors, investment managers and bankers in the wealth sector to recognise the achievements of the industry during the past year. The awards are judged by an international panel of industry judges who select the shortlist on which an open vote is now taking place.

Equiom’s Chairman Larry Kearns said: “Sheila brings an enormous amount of drive and enthusiasm to Equiom, steering its strategy for organic and acquisitive growth in international and local markets and ensuring that the company has the vision and flexibility to continually flourish.  Sheila leads by example with her teams and is the first to recognise that it is team work and customer service excellence that has helped Equiom to succeed, and this is due largely to the work and ongoing commitment by Equiom staff who continually deliver the highest levels of service to our clients and intermediaries. “

Larry continued; “It is also our loyal intermediaries and clients that I know Sheila feels indebted to, without whom, the continued success of the business would also not be possible.  An award of this nature would without doubt be a fantastic achievement for Sheila, Equiom and the Isle of Man.”

Online voting is now open at http://www.citywealthmag.com/awards-registration until April 26th.  The award winners will be announced on May 16th.
