First National Trustee Co (FNTC) a global resort and property management company based in the Isle of Man has appointed two new members to its senior management team.

Mike Lightfoot has joined as Operations Director. A Manx native, Mike has returned to the island after living and working in Guernsey for the past three years where he was technical director of Kleinwort Benson (Guernsey) Trustees Ltd. There he oversaw the company’s international retirement planning and trust wrapper business, and was responsible for front- and back-office operations for the pensions business across Guernsey and South Africa.

Prior to becoming technical director, he was chief operating officer for the company’s Offshore Distribution Partners business unit, which focused on distributing offshore trust, funds and pension wrappers through international   intermediaries. Mike is a member of the Personal Finance Society and the Chartered Insurance Institute.

Brigit Scott has been promoted from Manager to Director and manages the organisation’s trust and corporate team in the Isle of Man office. Brigit is a Chartered Secretary, having qualified in 2002, and has ACCA affiliate status. She joined FNTC in 1996 after completing an HND in Business and Finance and during her 15 years within the industry has gained experience in both the operational and trust and corporate aspects of the business.
