Jens Ostergaard is one of the world's leading experts in Software Development Management. He was the first person in the world to be qualified as a Certified Scrum Practitioner, and one of the first Scrum trainers. He co-founded the Scrum Foundation with Jeff Sutherland who invented Scrum, and is one of the most sought after experts in the adoption of Scrum worldwide. This year he is giving courses in Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzen, Copenhagen, Aarhus, Reykjavik and Edinburgh.
Scrum is a global phenomenon in IT, and the cornerstone of the "Agile Revolution" which over the past 15 years has driven a global change in helping IT developments to achieve success. In addition to being used in IT, Scrum has been used to manage the development of a wide range of projects and products in many industries. in 2011 the Icelandic Constitution Assembly used Scrum to develop the latest version of the Constitution of Iceland.
Jens moved from Scandinavia to the Isle of Man several years ago, and lives in Peel when he is not touring the world. This will be his first talk on the Isle of Man, and will be followed up in late May when he will run the first ever Certified Scrum Practitioner training course on the Island.
