ILS Fiduciaries will be a special guest speaker on an expert panel, which will consider the opportunities, challenges and growth prospects for Asian businesses in other markets, at one of e-Gaming’s largest global events.
Group Business Development Manager Richard MacNee will represent ILS on an expert panel at the iGaming Asia Congress in Macau, which is staged from March 12 until March 14.
Richard said: “This is a great opportunity for ILS to help promote the Isle of Man as a centre of excellence for e-Gaming for the Asian market. All of the topics covered are relevant to the Island and I am looking forward to being part of the panel.”
The panel will be chaired by Tim Craine, Head of e-Gaming and New Sectors for the Isle of Man Government, and will include panellists Magnus Grinneback, Director of Asia at Betsson, Keith McDonnell, CEO at KM iGaming and Gowree Gokhale, Partner and Head of Gaming Law Practice at Nishith Desai Associates.
The panel will address achieving real cost advantages through operating in multiple jurisdictions, licensing hotspots – where to license your gaming business and why, accessing international finance – an effective route to the Alternative Investment market, assessing the effects of the proposed UK licensing regulations and point of consumption tax for Asian operators, how to license the Master Credit Agent model and managing latency issues for data hosting and live dealing operators.

It provides an ideal opportunity to bring together the best of Western technology and experience, with the market knowledge of those doing business in Asia.
