Gaynor joins Isle of Man Post Office

Gaynor Evans has joined Isle of Man Post Office as Risk, Compliance and Audit Manager. This role is becoming increasingly important as the business introduces new products and services to customers both on and off the Island.
 
Gaynor brings a wealth of experience to the role having previously worked in law enforcement for the UK Police in fraud, financial and serious crime for 22 years. For the last eight years she has worked for Shell as its Risk and Compliance Manager based in both Holland and London.
 
On joining Isle of Man Post Office Gaynor said: “My role is to provide assurance to the business that appropriate controls are in place to assess and control business risk. The Isle of Man Post Office is a growing business, seeking to introduce new products into new markets, successful management of the business risk associated with these activities is critical to these initiatives. I’m delighted to have joined such a forward-thinking and innovative business and I’m confident that my experience will help the business to continue to be successful.”
 
David Catlow, Finance Director of Isle of Man Post Office said: “I’m delighted to welcome Gaynor to Isle of Man Post Office. She has extensive knowledge and experience of risk and compliance in a commercial environment and her appointment will greatly benefit the Isle of Man Post Office.”
 
Gaynor has been on the Island for two years and has settled into the Isle of Man way of life very well. She said: “I love the Island. I’m a real outdoors person so it’s a great place for me and my family to live. I’m also a member of the Manx Fell Runners and Triathlon Club and I’m currently training for the World Age Group Triathlon Championships.”
