Treasury Ministers briefing well received at JCC breakfast meeting

by isleofman.com 20th February 2013

Over 200 of the Island's top business names were at the Mount Murray Hotel in Santon this morning (Wed) for the now traditional post budget briefing by the Treasury Minister.

Eddie Teare gave a power point presentation at the event organized by the Junior Chamber of Commerce and sponsored by HSBC and then fielded questions from the floor.

His message was the Island is on course to re-balance its books after the VAT "bombshells" by 2016 and this seemed to be well received by these members of the audience.
