Manx Telecom’s world class hosting capabilities and wealth of eGaming expertise proved to be a winning combination at the recent ICE expo at London’s ExCel. ICE Totally Gaming is the world’s biggest eGaming expo and this year more than 400 exhibitors from 54 international jurisdictions were there making it a ‘must attend’ event for operators, regulators, and suppliers in all sectors of the industry.
Fergal McKenna, Manx Telecom Sales Director, commented:
“ICE 2013 was a resounding success for Manx Telecom and there was also a great deal of interest in the Isle of Man eGaming proposition in general. The people we talked to are interested in solutions that can allow them to start quickly and can cater for growth - allowing them to ramp up quickly. Our technical expertise and capabilities in cloud and hosted hybrid solutions deliver the mix of cost effectiveness and flexibility they need.”
Also representing Manx Telecom at ICE were Stuart Paul, Data Centres Director; John Dunne, Corporate Sales Account Manager; Stephen Trimble, Hosting and Solutions Manager; and Gavin Smith, Marketing Communications Supervisor. Manx Telecom supported the Isle of Man Government eGaming delegation at the expo held from February 5 to 7. ICE Totally Gaming organisers say that representatives of companies attending the expo can achieve as much in three days at ICE as they could in nine months of travelling to meetings around the world.
Central to Manx Telecom’s e-Gaming business proposition is its Douglas North Data Centre, which is the only purpose-built data centre on the Island, and offers world-class data security, super fast and highly resilient connectivity, fully outsourced managed platforms, plus expandable hosting, network capacity and cloud-based services. Currently, clients include some of the world’s largest eGaming companies as well as online bookmakers, global payment processors, international e-money providers, global banks, international insurance companies, music platforms and government departments.
