Security is top priority at IMS

Passing its six-monthly surveillance audit further demonstrates IMS’s high regard for the security and confidentiality of its practices and operations.

IMS (Integrated Mailing Solutions) is the specialist business communications division of Isle of Man Post Office. It holds internationally recognised accreditations ISO 27001:2005 and ISO 9001:2008 for data security and quality management systems respectively, for all of its services including mail opening, scanning, data capture, response handling, printing, fulfilment and franking. The accrediting body LRQA (Lloyd’s Register Quality Assurance) recently conducted its regular six-monthly surveillance audit of the IMS operation, to ensure that IMS was compliant and performing to the standards required by the International Standards Organisation.

Tony Randle, General Manager IMS, said: “IMS has a growing portfolio of clients located both on and off the Island and each and every one of them expects the highest standards of security and confidentiality. Data security is a key benefit we offer our clients and we take it very seriously. Having achieved the ISO accreditations and the continuing endorsement received from the LRQA, demonstrates our ongoing continuous improvement programme. In addition, the ISO certifications ensure we are compliant with privacy and data protection legislation and are providing best practice.”

“As a trusted, established and well-recognised business, our knowledge and expertise in mailing and security is first class and we are dedicated to ensuring our security standards are maintained to the highest level at all times” Tony added.
