by isleofman.com 4th February 2013
Due to his hard work and dedication to Capital Treasury Services it is with great pleasure that Paul has taken on the new role as Manager for Treasury and Foreign Exchange Sales.
Paul has worked in the Finance industry since 1998, primarily in the Finance and Treasury sectors. He spent five years with Scottish Provident International (now Royal London 360) before joining Abacus Trust Company in 2003. Paul later joined Capital International in 2004 and was part of the Third Party Administration team.

In 2008 Paul joined the Treasury Services team and has been instrumental in the growth and expansion of the treasury business, working closely with banking and financial institutions on foreign exchange and fixed term rates. Over the last six months Paul has focused his attention on his role as trainee manager and has recently passed ILM level 2.

Paul is thrilled to be offered the position of Manager within Capital Treasury Services, having worked hard over the last 8 years within the company and the wider Group and this promotion is a testament of his hard work. Paul believes “I have been influential in the expansion of Capital Treasury Services and the ever growing success story and am excited that I will be part of the future of CTS and bring more success to the Company. I would like to thank John Cookson for having the belief in me to make this ambition reality.”

In addition to his practical experience, Paul also holds a number of professional qualifications including the ACI Dealing Certificate, a qualification which allows candidates to acquire a working knowledge of the structure and operation of the major foreign exchange and money markets, including the application of the fundamental mathematics used in these markets, and their core products. Paul is a member of the Association of Corporate Treasurers and is currently studying for the Certificate of International Cash Management, which forms part of the overall ACT Treasury syllabus.

“Paul has been an invaluable asset to the team, the company as a whole and the growth of Capital Treasury Services, past, present and future. He, along with Craig Dalton and I, look forward to the future opportunities that treasury services within the Group will bring…”
