Bushy's will still be poured from the bottleneck

by isleofman.com 30th January 2013

Bushy's has been confirmed as operator of the beer tent at this year's TT festival.

The brewery has won its bid to continue running the outlet at the Bottleneck car park on Douglas Promenade.

The operation was put out to tender last October by Douglas council which said it wanted to maximise income from the site.

Bushy's has been told today (30 January) it has won a three year contract to run the facility with a tender for the site understood to be slightly higher than in the past.

Brewery boss Martin Brunschweiler has promised the traditional mix of beer and live music with added excitement! As in the past, two live bands will be staged every night with live music during the day as well.

However the decision has come too late for two couples who wanted to get married at the beer tent this TT. They couldn't wait for the council's decision and have made other plans.
