Crown Dependencies DTA signed

by isleofman.com 25th January 2013

The Isle of Man has signed a three-way tax agreement with the other Crown Dependencies.

Jersey, Guernsey and the Isle of Man signed double taxation agreements with each other earlier this week.

The agreements were signed by Jersey Assistant Chief Minister Philip Bailhache, Guernsey Deputy Chief Minister Jonathan Le Tocq and Manx Treasury Minister Eddie Teare.

It brings the total number of agreements signed by the Isle of Man to nine, and the agreements are designed to avoid taxing companies and individuals twice – once in the Isle of Man and once where they’re based.
