Martin Malone becomes CMI chartered manager

by isleofman.com 18th January 2013

Scottish Widows employee Martin Malone has become a Chartered Management Institute (CMI) chartered manager.

Mr Malone is existing business manager at the Victoria Road, Douglas office of Scottish Widows, part of the Lloyds Banking Group which sponsored his study programme.

He becomes one of only a handful of financial services professionals in the Island to hold the industry-recognised management qualification.

Scottish Widows director Juan Clarke said: ‘The Lloyds Banking Group recognises the importance of equipping its people with the skills to deliver exemplary standards of service, so is committed to supporting professional career development.

‘Martin is to be congratulated on achieving what is acknowledged to be the ultimate managerial qualification; one that not only endows our customer proposition with unequalled consistency and high quality but also contributes to driving the business forward.
