by isleofman.com 4th January 2013

Hotchkiss Associates Limited (“HAL”) is pleased to announce the appointment of Rajan Nandha as Tax Consultant.

Raj is a fully qualified Chartered Accountant and successfully read for BA (Hons) Accounting & Finance at the University of North London, attaining 1st class honours along with the George Ayeko-Ayoko Memorial award in recognition of his academic achievement.

Raj joins HAL in January 2013 after a period of providing on-island consultancy services.  Prior to this, he completed his accountancy training with KPMG in London before moving to the Isle of Man with his Manx born wife to raise a family.  Raj then worked for PricewaterhouseCoopers as an Audit Senior and for Crowe Clark Whitehill LLC for over five years as a Manager in Taxation Services.

Paul Hotchkiss, Managing Director of HAL, said:  “Hotchkiss Associates has been steadily growing over the past three years, specialising in tax advisory & tax compliance services. I am delighted to welcome Raj and I believe his credentials speak for themselves and reflect our ambition to recruit high quality candidates to further our growth strategy. This is a particularly interesting time for taxation services generally and Raj’s appointment will enable us to continue to meet the future expectations of our clients and introducers for high level taxation services”.

Raj added: “I am delighted to join Hotchkiss Associates.  HAL is well-respected on the Island as one of the leading providers of taxation services and I look forward to contributing to and expanding the services already offered by HAL, using the skills I have developed over more than a decade of working in the accountancy & financial services industry”.
