Eastern European business on the horizon?

by isleofman.com 29th December 2012

The Island could see more business coming from Eastern Europe in the year ahead.

That's the belief of the Associcate Director of IQE Steve McCafferty.

Staff from the Island based fiduciary service provider attended a recent international tax conference in Mumbai, along with representatives from the Department of Economic Development.

Mr McCafferty says it's important that the Island is seen as a major player in international business and, whilst growing amounts of trade has been coming from India and other parts of Asia, more work could be generated from markets closer to home in 2013.
