Manx Telecom is looking to recruit a number of communications specialists to work on the company’s ?25million Next Generation Network (NGN). The vacancies are for technicians to support and develop NGN which is an internet protocol based system that provides the Island with a world class telecoms infrastructure.
Mike Loundes, Manx Telecom Customer Services and Technical Director, said:
“We’re delighted to be able to create new jobs and, if we can find suitable applicants, we may be able to recruit three or four new Network Communications Specialists. Of course, this is great news for us and for the Isle of Man. It’s also an indication of the type of career opportunities that we can offer those with the relevant skills and qualifications. We are looking for people who are educated to degree level and/or have a minimum of two years experience of working on mobile, IP or IT network infrastructure, preferably with appropriate technical accreditations to support their work experience.
