Permanent Bank International has appointed Barry Watts as Non-Executive Director. Barry has more than 20 years of experience working at senior level within international banking. He worked for Barclays Bank for 39 years joining Barclays Isle of Man in 1988 when he was appointed Manager of the bank’s Castletown branch, a post he held until 1992. His final role with Barclays Isle of Man was as Senior Business Development Manager. In 2003 he was appointed as Managing Director of Barclays International Investments (Malta) Ltd and as the Country Manager for Barclays in Malta. Barry left Barclays in 2008 to manage two personal property refurbishments. He is now a majority shareholder in ST Consulting Limited and is a non-executive director with Equilibrium Pensions Ltd, a post he has held since 2010. Barry became a Chartered Fellow of the Securities Institute in 2010. Commenting on his Permanent Bank International appointment, he said:
