The Isle of Man team is on it's way to Australia for the Commonwealth Games. 27 competitors, plus coaches and officials will represent the Island in Melbourne. The sports covered by Manx entrants are Athletics, Badminton, Lawn Bowls, Cycling, Swimming, Gymnastics and Shooting. The party left Ronaldsway for Manchester this lunchtime, and will head "down under" later this evening. Tourism Minister David Cretney was at the Airport to wish them well:-
