Kerbside collection not supported

Douglas corporation says it’s stopped the trial of kerbside recycling collections at Governor’s Hill.

North Douglas MHKs Bill Henderson and John Houghton say they’re disappointed with the cancellation and have called on the council to reinstate the scheme.

But Council Leader Linda Ramsay (pictured) says the scheme was only a trial and not enough people took up the offer.
