Collective responsibility?

Prospects for the successful redevelopment of Douglas bus station, may have been damaged by the outspoken comments of a senior Isle of Man politician.

That's the verdict of Rushen MHK Quintin Gill who is dismayed at comments Treasury Minister Allan Bell made about the project.

Mr Bell expressed disappointment the scheme does not include up-market leisure attractions - and said an opportunity to revitalise the area had been "squandered".

Quintin Gill (pictured) has tabled a series of questions in the Keys this week, suggesting Mr Bell's guilty of breaching the ministers' code of collective responsibility.

He says the comments may have long-term fall-out:
