Mark Cavendish is showing good form ahead of the Commonwealth Games.
The cyclist is currently completing in the UCI Sydney Track World Cup for GB. On Day two of proceedings he scored a good 7th place in the points race- the only other Commonwealth competing cyclist to finish above him was Chris Newton in third.
On Day three he raced the Madison with Geraint Thomas. Of course, Mark and Rob Hayles and World Madison champions.
They rode well for third place, behind the Danish and Italian pairings.
