It’s been ruled the sacking of a Manx Nurse was too harsh.
After a two-day appeal the Health Department has decided to reinstate Margaret Collins.
The Maughold Women was dismissed last year after alleged errors in record keeping.
An independent panel says the finding of gross misconduct was correct but the sacking had been too severe.
The Department says Mrs. Collins will now return to work as quickly as is possible.
She is not prepared to make a public comment but Bernard Moffatt from the Trade and General Workers Union says she’s in high spirits:
