Onchan resident Neil Hodgson was third fastest in practice for the A.M.A. Superbike Championship opening round at Daytona Beach, Florida. The Ducati star is embarking on his second season in the United States. Last year was an adventure into the unknown. Hodgson now knows what to expect, but says he was surprised by the untidy appearance of some of the circuits used in the series:-
