Anger as Post close only North Douglas Post Office with no replacement.

There's growing anger at plans to close the only Post Office serving North Douglas and not replace it. The Brunswick Road outlet will stop doing postal business from the end of the month. Although two other businesses, the nearby newsagents and the Wessex Garage applied after an advertisement, both were turned down. It now seems the Post Office do not intend replacing Brunswick Road. Local MHK and former Post Chairman John Shimmin says that disappoints him:
