The Water Authority has reached agreement with another landowner for the laying of the new raw water pipeline.
It's part of the Crystal Project to install the new 600 millimetre diameter ductile iron pipe which needs to be laid as part of the new Douglas Water Treatment Works.
Now 16 of the 19 landowners along the route of the new pipeline have already reached agreement to allow the Authority access to their land.
The latest is farmer Robert Shimmin is the latest to sign an agreement for work on his land in Onchan.
Chief Executive, Patrick Heaton-Armstrong says they have a statutory duty to supply water and are reluctantly using their powers to ensure pipeline construction is not delayed by individual landowners, as a last resort.
Discussions with the three remaining landowners are on-going.
