Peel Viking festival

by isleofman.com 11th March 2006
It's being billed as one of the biggest viking events in Europe - and it's happening in the Isle of Man.

The Peel Viking Festival will run for a week from July 2nd, usually it's only a couple of days.

Among the attractions will be a village big enough to house several people and a market with goods from as far away as Scandinavia.

Chairman of the Festival, Roy Baker, says it'll be bigger and better than ever before.
