Two Charterhouse jobs saved

by isleofman.com 11th March 2006
Consultation has concluded with staff who’ve been made redundant at Charterhouse in Ramsey. Last month, the company announced up to 30 workers in the operations and supports department would lose their jobs. However, two of those jobs have been saved with the staff in question accepting alternative posts with the firm. The other 28 have now left the company with redundancy packages as well as training grants. The redundancies are down to a downturn in business in a particular sector in the UK with which the firm is involved. Charterhouse say no further redundancies are planned.
