The number of people unemployed on the Island has risen.
There were 646 people out of work on the Island at the end of last month, which represents 1.6% of the economically active population, and an increase of 24 over the month.
199 claimants signed on during February and 175 signed off. Of the total figure 459 were men and 192 women, and the figures include 49 persons who require work permits and 30 who were siging on for National Insurance credits only.
A total of 459 job vacancies were notified to the job centre during the month, and at the end of the month 257 jobs were held on file.
