Contracts between council tenants and their landlords could soon become a lot clearer.
Peel MHK Hazel Hannan wants Tynwald to set up a select committee to look into local authority tenancy agreements.
She wants the whole contract to be looked at and points out one clause, which causes her concern.
If the rent hasn’t been paid for seven days occupants could get their house repossessed.
