Join a union first!

Manx employees should consider joining a union BEFORE problems arise in the workplace.

That is the message from one of the Island's biggest trade unions, the Transport and General, which has seen a rise in the number of non-members seeking help for workplace disputes.

The T and G's Bernard Moffatt (pictured) is urging people to join an appropriate union so they can take advantage of the assistance of offer.

He says trying to join when a crisis arises causes problems:
