Young Farmers at the Gaiety from tonight

by isleofman.com 16th March 2006
The curtain rises tonight on one of the biggest events in the theatrical calendar, for those involved in Manx farming! The annual Young Farmers' concert at the Gaiety Theatre (pictured) begins a three night run in front of sell-out audiences. As usual long queues formed on Douglas Prom when the tickets went on sale last month, even though the sketches are barely rehearsed and most are without direction or script! Young Farmers' Secretary Stella Hampton says it's pandemonium, but that's the way the punters like it.
