Prostate cancer

by isleofman.com 17th March 2006
It's claimed most men wouldn't even know where to start looking for it, but problems with IT can easily be dealt with if found early.

Prostate Cancer awareness week gets underway on Monday, and the Department of Health is urging men to get to know their bodies.

The prostate gland sits just below the bladder.

The symptoms of cancer in this area are pain or difficulty in passing water, and blood in the urine.

Anyone experiencing such problems should get in touch with their doctor as soon as possible.

There'll be information displays at Noble's Hospital next week to generate a greater understanding about the condition.
