Injured woman flying home today

A Castletown woman who suffered a broken hip in Norway a fortnight ago is due to be flown home by air ambulance today (Saturday).

Betty Callister, 75, will travel to the Island direct from Stavanger, with her daughter, Susan, and son-in-law, Eddie Hudson.

They have spent an unplanned fortnight in Scandinavia, following a dispute over medical insurance.

Mr Hudson says it has been an ordeal, but Mrs. Callister is relieved and looking forward to getting home:
