Foreign nationals question

Chief Minister Donald Gelling could face some tough questions in Tynwald tomorrow (Tues) on the subject of foreign nationals.

North Douglas MHK Bill Henderson (pictured) has a total of 12 questions, eight for oral answer.

He wants to know if the Council of Ministers has established a population figure, and when the residency act is going to be fully implemented. The Act was brought in during 2001 but left the crucial decisions on qualifications for residency to be decided at a later date, and this is still to be done.
