Tribute in Tynwald

The Court of Tynwald has paid tribute to the achievements of Manx athletes.

Before proceedings got underway this morning President Noel Cringle (pictured) read out a message of congratulations to all those at the Commonwealth Games in Melbourne, Australia.

Whilst all the team were praised, Mark Cavendish's gold medal in cycling was singled out for special mention:

Mr Cringle concluded his comments by wishing the whole team the best of luck in the remaining events
