No smoking at upgraded airport

Tynwald has agreed to increase the size of Ronaldsway Airport with a ?1.5 million extension to the departure lounge.

The two storey extension will not include smoking facilities although, during the debate, Rushen MHK Quintin Gill, said a smoking room should be included, despite the recently introduced 'no smoking' policy at the airport.

Transport Minister Phil Braidwood spoke about it to Manx Radio's senior political correspondent, David Callister:
