One of the Isle of Man's most prolific artists is to be honoured with his first exhibition on home turf.
The late Eric Houlgrave, a retired teacher, was best known for his watercolour paintings, calligraphy and pottery.
He taught at the Kensington Road Art School and the Isle of Man college for 30 years.
Manx National Heritage is showing a collection of his works, entitled 'For The Love Of It', at the Manx Museum (pictured) for two months, starting on April the 14th.
It was put together with the help of his widow and two daughters.
As well as Mr Houlgrave's work, visitors will be able to read and listen to memories of him, provided by former students and colleagues.
