BBC bus in Peel

The BBC bus has spent its first day on the Island, although we’re likely to see more of it over the next year.

Funding has been secured by the broadcaster to bring the vehicle over two more times in the next twelve months.

It’s hoped the bus will be here for Tynwald Day and possibly for the Viking Festival although that has not yet been confirmed.

Whilst on the Island staff are encouraging people to read and write more, and to discover more about their family history.

Tomorrow the bus will be at Onchan Commissioners and Friday and Saturday it will be at the B & Q car park
