Orangeleaf returns

by isleofman.com 23rd March 2006
The vessel from which two crewmen disappeared last year is back in Manx waters.

The RAF vessel Orangeleaf has returned to the Island for a memorial service.

Last year two of her crew were lost overboard whilst she was at anchor in Douglas Bay.

41 year-old Mark Geoffrey Petre from Surrey and 25 year-old Keith Rice from Middlesex, two Royal Fleet Auxiliary crew members, went missing on June the 4th

It's understood the service will be held on-board the ship, and the families of the sailors who lost their lives will be flying to the Island tomorrow in order to take part in the service.
