Minister says foreign workers benefit economy

The Trade and Industry Minister is reassuring the Manx public and politicians over the increasing numbers of foreign nationals being employed in the Isle of Man. Alex Downie is pointing out the benefits it has for the Manx economy and workforce. He says the majority of doctors are from off Island and there are large numbers of nurses as well. In Tynwald this week, there was concern over growing numbers of immigrants, but Mr. Downie (pictured) says foreigners coming here is not a new phenomenon:
