BBC bus back in the Island

by isleofman.com 24th March 2006
A major literacy campaign is visiting the Isle of Man, as part of a tour of Britain. Over the past two days Island residents will have noticed the BBC’s Big Blue Bus. It’s here implementing the RAW project, which stands for reading and writing. Today (Friday) and tomorrow the vehicle will be parked at B and Q in Cooil Road, Braddan. Ben Thompson is the Senior Broadcast Journalist on board (audio file attached): (Picture: The bus when it was parked at the NSC collecting war stories from Manx residents, last August).
